Doctor Bios

Beth R. Freeling, D.P.M.

Doctor Beth Freeling graduated cum laude from Union College in Schenectady, New York. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in biology and psychology. After her graduation from Union, she continued her professional education at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. During her education at Temple University she was inducted into the Sterling Hartford Honorary Anatomical Society and the Pi Delta National Honor Society. Doctor Freeling completed a surgical residency program at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Her program specialized in reconstructive foot surgery.

Doctor Freeling is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is also a member of the Monroe County Podiatry Society, the New York State Podiatry Society and the American Podiatric Medical Association. Doctor Freeling has lectured extensively on the diabetic foot and on the heel spur syndrome. She is a partner in the practice of podiatric medicine at Westside Podiatry Group which has multiple offices in Monroe County. Doctor Freeling is on the attending staff of Unity Hospital, Rochester General Hospital, Westfall Surgery Center, and Brighton Surgery Center. It has always been a dream of Beth to follow in her father’s footsteps and work by his side.

In addition to her volunteer work in the Jewish community and at a local soup kitchen, she enjoys education and lecturing on foot care to the medical and general public. She also performs local foot screenings at various health fairs. She is passionate about exercise and health. She believes keeping people active and ambulatory with “happy feet” yields a happier person and many more smiles.
